A COMPETENT AND AN ECONOMICALLY CHEAP SYNTHESIS OF AMIDES CATALYZED BY CALCIUM CHLORIDE
Main Article Content
Abstract
CaCl2 has been found to be an efficient and economically cheap catalyst for the rapid synthesis of amides in high yields. The use of stoichiometric quantities of acetic anhydride under solvent free conditions without any additional purifications makes this etiquette a safe and sound alternative to the existing methods.
