SYNTHESIS, CHARACTERIZATION AND ANTIMICROBIAL ACTIVITY (MIC) OF SOME NEW PYRIMIDINE DERIVATIVES
Main Article Content
Abstract
Synthesis of substituted pyrazolo pyrimidine by the reaction of substituted pyrazole-4-carbaldehyde and 3-methyl 1Hpyrazole -5(4H)-one and 1H-benzo[d]imidazol-2-amine, acetonitrile as solvent and piperidine as a catalyst, was performed. The constitution of all the synthesized compounds has been characterized by using IR, MASS, 1HNMR spectroscopy. All synthesized compounds were screened for their antimicrobial activity.
